Data

Clean sleep NBP11-07 Shown at right is the cDrake array, consisting of a transport line and a local dynamics array, during the final year of the field program (2010-2011).

A bonus array ("H" sites) was deployed for the final year to quantify topographic form drag in the lee of the Shackleton Fracture Zone at the latitude of the mean Polar Front ridge- crossing.

Bathymetry

Processed Multibeam Sonar Data are available from the Marine Geoscience Data System (MGDS). The links below will take you directly to the data acquired during each of the cDrake cruises.

CPIES

CPIES data are available from the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC): NODC Accession 0121256
The quantities measured by the CPIES include bottom pressure, vertical acoustic travel time, near-bottom temperature and near-bottom currents. Hourly measurements of vertical acoustic travel time, bottom pressure, near-bottom temperature and horizontal near-bottom currents are available. These are the highest quality versions of the data after the least amount of processing.

CTD

CTD Data are available from the Marine Geoscience Data System. The links below will take you directly to the CTD data from the listed cruise.

CTD Data from all 5 cruises are also available from the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC): NODC Accession 0101090

Current Meter

Current meter data are available from the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC): NODC Accession 0121256
Three short current meter moorings, deployed on the continental margins from November 2007 to November 2009, provide measurements of currents and temperature. A fourth intercomparison mooring was deployed for one year in the middle of the passage in 2009. This mooring was instrumented with four models of current meters closely-spaced to assess their performance. For each type of current meter the highest quality data is available with the least amount of processing.

Shipboard ADCP

Shipboard ADCP Data are available from the Joint Archive for Shipboard ADCP. The links below will take you directly to the data from the listed cruise.
